Hi Dear Reader,

I hope you are doing well! Welcome on board for my/our journey to the beautiful country of happiness.

This blog is an experiment about happiness: my first article will let you know what is my current level of happiness because, yes, it can be measured. Then, I will share with you some of my readings, tips and tricks known as great tools when it comes to improving your level of happiness, and everything I will be going through during this journey.

How did I have the idea of writing a blog about it?

Having been interested in the topic of happiness for a while now, I have been amazed to discover that you could actually follow (serious) courses about happiness at some universities. You can even find one of them on Coursera, a website which offers online courses about many different topics.

This specific course is called “A Life of Happiness and Fulfillment“. It is offered by the Indian School of Business (I know… a school of business which offers happiness lessons. Incredible, isn’t it?!). The main teacher is Dr. Rajagopal Raghunathan, but he is helped by many different people (assistants, speakers, etc.)  He also is the author of “If You’re So Smart, Why Aren’t You Happy?” that I definitely have to read.

During the first week lessons (that I watch in advance as the course is supposed to start on April 4th), he suggested us to keep a diary at least during his 6-week course in order to document our progress on the path of happiness. Being a huge fan of the web, I have decided I will do so online.

So, starting from today (March 30th, 2017), I will write every day for six weeks.
